The national Artsmark Celebration week is taking place this year from 9-13 November and as part of the week we are inviting East Midlands Artsmark schools to come together for an online network event to share practice, gather new ideas, discuss common challenges and to inspire!

This is the first in a series of Artsmark network events focusing on the impact and importance of arts and creativity in schools. These events will include case study presentations from awarded Artsmark schools and themed discussions. This first session will focus on how arts and creativity support young people’s wellbeing.

Schools and partners attending will have the opportunity to hear about and discuss how the arts can support the development of curriculum, leadership, CPD and pupil voice in schools, and the impact of this work.

This network event will include:-

  • 3 case study presentations from recently awarded Artsmark schools, followed by Q&A
  • an opportunity to explore how arts and creativity can support young people’s wellbeing – sharing ideas, top tips and challenges
  • a chance to get some advice and support on your Artsmark journey from other schools, organisations and our specialist team.

It will be an opportunity to link up with like-minded schools and partners that are committed to the arts, creating a stronger voice for the importance and impact of cultural education.
