AWAKEN NOW, Feel Fully Alive is a bold, genre-defying, experiential journey wherever you are—on a mountain path, beside water, or standing at the edge of a new beginning.

It offers exactly what today’s world is hungry for: a pause, a breath, a place to reconnect with yourself in the midst of constant motion and noise.

This immersive audiobook blends raw, honest memoir with poetic storytelling, self‑coaching insights, guiding listeners into the wild, exhilarating territory of not knowing. Fear becomes fuel. Creativity awakens with deeply personal reflections, of how the extraordinary hides inside the ordinary, waiting to be seen, felt, and lived.

Alison’s voice inspires you to feel reassured, with her as your companion on the edge of change, that feels both intimate and empowering.

As you listen, you’ll slow down, tune in, rediscover desire, and step into the unknown living life more fully, bravely, and consciously.

Specifically written for listeners, weaving memoir-in-motion, coaching, a poetic immersion into your whole self, switched on, Soul-Self-Source Connect.

Through poetic reflections and vivid, soul‑stirring vignettes, her voice invites you to listen to the sounds and music that leads you into the landscapes that shaped her. From the stillness of Himalayan mornings to the expansive silence of the Swiss Alps into hearing the inner terrains where love, joy and deep, inner peaceful calm transforms you, alongside the music that reaches the end of the book in bold celebration.

This audiobook is a creative catalyst, and a safe space where your own inner journey quietly unfolds alongside the author’s.

It’s an opportunity to look at yourself. Revisit who you really are and where you are at right now! Explore and experiment with what works for you, in your own uniqueness.

She has written, presented and interviewed guests for her BBC Radio 4 series, ‘Stand-ups and Strumpets’, which came after her ‘In Conversation Event with Brenda Blethyn and Meera Syal’ at the Royal National Theatre, London to launch her 2nd book, ‘Performing Women’.

Some of the key takeaways for Creative Mentors:

  1. The Power of Voice as Transformation

The audiobook is not simply a narrated version of a book. Hearing Alison’s voice artistry alongside discussion with Nick Owen will illuminate how tone, rhythm, silence, pacing, and being present with presence can become vehicles for change.

A mentor might reflect:

“The voice itself can become a coaching intervention.”

This opens new possibilities for guiding clients, students, performers, writers, and leaders.

  1. Story as a Gateway to Awakening

Alison Oddey’s work explores the power of stories, myths, metaphors, and archetypes. In conversation, she will draw out the deeper narrative beneath AWAKEN NOW:

  • What awakens us?
  • What keeps us asleep?
  • What stories limit us?
  • What stories liberate us?

A Creative Mentor could gain fresh ways of using narrative, how to evoke insights as a transformative process.

  1. Creativity as a Living Practice

The dialogue will reveal that becoming ‘fully alive’ is not a destination but an ongoing creative act.

Mentors may leave with a renewed appreciation that:

  • Creativity is not confined to artists.
  • Awakening is not confined to spiritual seekers.
  • Both are daily practices of attention, courage, and presence.
  1. The Relationship Between Performance and Authenticity

Alison’s background in performance, authorship, coaching, and voice work creates a fascinating tension:

How do we perform without performing?

A Creative Mentor could discover how authentic expression can be crafted, rehearsed, and refined while remaining deeply truthful.

  1. Listening as a Creative Skill

Perhaps surprisingly, one of the greatest lessons may be about listening.

Watching Nick and Alison engage each other will model:

  • deep curiosity
  • respectful inquiry
  • reflective dialogue
  • co-creation of meaning

A mentor might realize that creative leadership begins not with speaking but with active listening.

  1. New Possibilities for Audio-Based Learning

The conversation will offer practical inspiration about the future of lifelong learning, personal development and growth through audio.

Creative Mentors could explore:

  • audiobook experiences rather than audiobooks
  • immersive learning journeys
  • spoken-word transformation
  • blending coaching, memoir, poetry, music and storytelling

This is particularly relevant in a world where people increasingly learn while walking, travelling, or creating.

  1. Permission to Feel Fully Alive

Perhaps the deepest takeaway is not methodological but personal.

A Creative Mentor may leave asking:

Where am I not fully alive?

What part of my creativity is waiting to be expressed?

How can I invite others into a fuller experience of being human?

In that sense, this session becomes more than an interview. It becomes an invitation.

The conversation between Nick Owen and Alison Oddey will serve as a living example of what AWAKEN NOW Feel Fully Alive proposes: that awakening is not found in abstract theory but in the courageous act of bringing voice, story, music, creativity, and presence together in service of a more vibrant life.
