This is a call for Creative Mentors(s) to support the growth of The Mighty Creatives’ Creative Mentoring services across the East Midlands. Mentors are sought with specialisms in arts and cultural practice, participatory work with children and young people (5-19) and experience in the voluntary, community, creative & cultural sectors.
The Mighty Creatives has been managing a programme of Creative Mentoring delivering support to young people aged 16-19 across Derby/shire and Nottingham/shire, two priority areas in our funding from Children in Need. This project was originally known as Emerge Creative and later referred to as Creative Mentoring for young people leaving care.
The tried and tested Creative Mentoring model (pioneered in partnership with Derbyshire Virtual School) has been adapted as a creative skills framework for YP who are at greatest risk of not being in education, employment or training.
Through further funding opportunities, The Mighty Creatives is looking to expand and form a wider range of services, providing a full scope of creative mentoring support to children and young people across the region aged 5-19.
The programme will enable and increase the number of children and young people we can work with and support the most vulnerable of children and young people in need.
We are looking for succinct responses to this opportunity focusing on the provider specification. We would like to hear about examples of relevant work you have done in the past and existing relationships you have in delivering similar services with children and young people.
Please download the brief, supporting information and equal opportunities form and submit a copy of your CV and a short proposal (max three sides of A4 in 12-point text) outlining your experience against the provider specification listed and send to firstname.lastname@example.org by 9am on Monday 20th July 2020.
