A chance to link up with like-minded schools & arts organisations committed to the arts, creating a stronger voice for the importance and impact of cultural education.
This is the third of three Artsmark Online Networking Sessions run by TMC during 2020/21, all of which have looked at a slightly different aspect of the process, but all of which have been designed to bring teachers together, to help them learn from each other and share ideas, and to help us all find ways to Keep Art at the Heart during the pandemic and its aftermath.
Using the Artsmark process to guide and steer the conversation, this session will offer the chance to unpick the benefits and challenges of developing Pupil Voice, as well as to looking back over the last extraordinary year-and-a-half and forward to plans for the next academic year.
Three teachers from recently awarded Artsmark schools from our region will each give a short informal presentation about their Artsmark journey with particular reference to how they have strengthened Pupil Voice.
Each 10-minute presentation will be followed by a short Q&A and, once all the schools have presented, a wider discussion will take place in a series of online breakout rooms.
This final session is aimed at teachers from Primary, Secondary & SEND schools, as well as arts organisations and partners working with schools, and will be an uplifting opportunity to link up with like-minded colleagues from across the East Midlands who are committed to cultural education and will once again be chaired by Creative Producer & Artsmark Consultant Simon Hollingworth
