This session is for Derbyshire County Council’s Creative Mentors who are moving or interested in moving onto The Mighty Creatives’ Creative Mentoring Pool of preferred suppliers.

We are excited to warmly welcome Derbyshire County Council’s Creative Mentors onto our pool and want to use this opportunity to say hello and get to know you all. We hope this session will provide an overview of our Creative Mentoring service and the areas we deliver as well as the Creative Mentor Network, support available and key policies and procedures at The Mighty Creatives.

 

In this session we will be covering:

• An introduction to The Mighty Creatives and our programmes.
• An introduction to the Creative Mentoring team.
• A brief introduction to The Mighty Creatives’ Creative Mentoring Programme – What is Creative Mentoring and how does it work?
• An overview of the partnership between Derbyshire County Council and The Mighty Creatives – What have we done to date?
• An overview of the support programme available via The Mighty Creatives Creative Mentor Network. This includes free training, professional supervision and networking opportunities as well as information sharing and access to our Creative Mentor Hub.
• An overview of The Mighty Creatives’ Safeguarding policy and procedures, including exploration of our Creative Mentor Handbook, Safeguarding Policy, Code of Conduct and FAQ Document.
• An overview of The Mighty Creatives’ financial policies and procedures, as well as more detail in claiming expenses.
