Come and join us at The Mighty Creatives, alongside Voluntary Action Leicester and Highfields Centre, to celebrate the achievements of our young people as part of our Creative Futures project.

What is the Creative Futures Project?

Since November 2024, we have supported young people aged 16-25 from across Leicester City to work alongside three professional and inspiring artists to learn from their expertise and explore creative careers.

We worked alongside the following artists:

• Samantha Peberdy – A visual artist, whose work you can find here: https://samanthajaynepeberdy.com/.
• Richard Stone – A digital artist and musician.
• Tom from Graffwerk – A graffiti artist.

Over these 14 weeks, our groups of young people have explored artwork by other artists, learning new skills for themselves, creating their own art work and have explored sharing their art work with others.

This celebration and sharing event brings all of their work together and we would love for you to attend.

What should I expect?

The day will be a day full of sharing, celebration, creativity and achievements. We will also get an opportunity to be creative.

The day will consist of:

• An exhibition and presentation of young people’s visual artwork,
• Performances from our songwriters, musicians and producers,
• Creative workshops for everyone to have a taster of the young people’s skills,
• Certificate presentation for all young people,
• A collaborative graffiti wall for everyone to contribute to.
