the mighty (UN)mute: vow of silence

On Wednesday 5th October, our staff team are taking part in the Mighty (UN)Mute – a day-long vow of silence. We’re giving up our voices to raise awareness of the importance of young people’s voices – especially those who identify as part of the Global Majority (previously referred to as BAME); those young people who so often go unheard. We won’t be able to communicate with others throughout the day verbally, by text or email, written notes, or posting on social media.

But there’s more. We need to raise £5000 to support The World Reimagined, a ground-breaking arts education project responding to the theme Still We Rise… and fighting to transform how we understand the Transatlantic Trade in Enslaved Africans and its recurrent impact on all of us.
