The Power of Presence, Not Just Your Practice

We all know the ‘put your life-jacket on first’ theory but, when in the world of emotional wellbeing, it’s much more complicated than that.
This is because we all omit electromagnetic energy, and the energy field of the human nervous system is huge.
What’s more, its activity is constantly interacting and influencing the nervous systems of those around you; In short, emotionally we are all very powerful, whether we intend to be or not, particularly to those young people who have had a less than ideal childhood and whose brains and bodies are ‘wired’ accordingly.   We all need to know how to use this power wisely, and this session challenges Creative Mentors to think beyond their practice and understand more deeply;

  • The constant interplay between your ‘thinking brain’ and your ‘intuitive heart’ that operates beneath your level of consciousness.
  • What this means for your energy field and how this impacts the often-traumatised nervous systems of the young people you support.
  • How to intentionally magnify the magic of your ‘presence’, as well as your practice, to strengthen young people’s emotional health and wellbeing.

If you have any questions about the session, please get in contact with our Youth Programme Manager, Emily York, by emailing Emily.york@themightycreatives.com.
