Creative Mentor Stakeholder Roundtable (5th October 2023)

This session is only for key stakeholders of The Mighty Creatives’ Creative Mentoring programme and is invite only.  

We are delighted to invite you to one of our Creative Mentoring Stakeholder Roundtable discussions. These will provide spaces for us to explore the current Creative Mentoring model, where the service currently supports children and young people in need and future opportunities and collaborations. We hope you’re able to join us, as you have been an integral part of our Creative Mentoring journey.

The session will take place on Zoom and there are two date options for the event to accommodate for everyone’s diaries:

• Morning Session: Wednesday 4^th October from 9-11am
• Afternoon Session: Thursday 5^th October from 4-6pm

You do not need to attend both, as the agendas will be repeated, we just wanted to provide options. Please only book onto one of them.

The session will be led by our brilliant consultant, Amanda McLaren, who is working alongside our team to support the development of our Creative Mentoring programme.

They will be informal, conversational and we are eager to hear your inputs, ideas, and suggestions for growth. The agenda will loosely follow:

• Welcome and Context Setting
• Overview of TMC’s Creative Mentoring programme
• Group introduction activity: What does TMC’s Creative Mentoring programme mean to you?
• How do children and young people currently view Creative Mentoring? What impact does it have on their lives, if any?
• Group discussion: What is so distinct about the service? Why do you value it? Where does TMC go from here?
• Group prioritising task.
• Review session and feedback
• Next steps

This work is part of a bigger consultancy and research programme led by TMC, exploring the development of the Creative Mentoring work.
