Creative Mentoring Network – Safeguarding Briefing

- Creative Mentors will be paid £30.00 an hour for their time if they attend.
This session is for those Creative Mentors who are signed up to The Mighty Creatives’ pool of Creative Mentors.
Following the discussions at our last network meeting, we feel it is important to recap our Safeguarding Procedures at The Mighty Creatives, which some of you may already be familiar with. The session will be delivered by Emily Bowman, The Mighty Creatives’ Deputy CEO and Designated Safeguarding Officer.
The session will cover the following:
- An update from Creative Mentors
- The Mighty Creatives’ Policy and Procedures
- How to respond to a disclosure
- The Mighty Creatives’ Code of Conduct
- The Corporate Mindset
- Scenario 1-4 Breakouts & Discussions
- Support for Creative Mentors & Important Contacts
- Information about our Creative Mentoring Hub
There will be opportunities for questions, discussions and reflections throughout the session.
We will also ensure there will be an opportunity for a break as well as a creative activity to break up the afternoon.

All those who sign-up and attend will be paid £30.00 an hour for their time. An agreement will be required to be signed prior to the event for a payment to be made.
