Come and celebrate the young people who have been a part of the Staffordshire Virtual School’s DfE Creative Mentoring Project in 2025-2026!

This event aims to showcase and celebrate the creative work of all the young people who have been working with Creative Mentors, as part of the DfE (Department for Education) funded project that Staffordshire Virtual School has been involved in. We would love as many people as possible who have been involved along the way to join us in recognising the hard work of everyone involved in a fun afternoon of special activities.

Light refreshments will be included in the day, so please let us know of any dietary requirements.

All young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible and supporting adult as part of their attendance.

The day will consist of:

  • Welcome from The Mighty Creatives and Staffordshire Virtual School
  • Two 1.5-hour long creative workshops – clay vessel hand building and plate painting, led by experienced tutors at Gladstone Pottery Museum
  • Lunch
  • A chance to look at a selection of work from the young people on the project in a small exhibition
  • A short presentation and celebration to end the day

We only have a limited number of spaces, so please book early to avoid disappointment!

All young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, either individually, or as a group.

There will be workshops involving clay and painting as part of the day so please dress accordingly – aprons will also be provided.
