We’re a national charity providing creative youth services for the most unheard children and young people in our society. Our definition of need is varied. We support children and young people experiencing disadvantage, including those who:

  • Are care experienced (this includes Looked After Children, Care Leavers or Previously Looked After Children)
  • Are experiencing abuse or neglect (including those under a Child Protection Plan)
  • Are a registered Child in Need
  • Have Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
  • Have a disability or life restricting illness
  • Are experiencing poverty/low income
  • Are living as a young carer
  • Are seeking asylum
  • Are in refuge
  • Are in an Alternative Education Provision
  • Are on Free School Meals
  • Are receiving Pupil Premium
  • Have been excluded or at risk of exclusion.

The eruption of the cost-of-living crisis, the rising tide of social deprivation – not to mention the lingering effects of Covid-19 on young people – has increased the demand for our service. This year, we’ve seen a 700% rise in referrals to our Creative Mentoring service alone. We never want to turn a young person in need of our services away, and we have plans to broaden our reach to a national scale so that we can transform the lives of the young people who need us the most – no matter their background.

We rely on the life-changing funding provided by trusts and foundations to continue our work advocating for the most unheard young people in our society and we’re grateful for the support we have received to date.
