Group School Offer – £2,500 bursaries for schools

If you are connected to a network of schools interested in working together to develop your arts provision, then our programme of support could help.

We’re so excited to let you know that Mighty Creatives have extended the deadline for our Group School Offer.  The bursary itself is intended to pay for staff cover costs to enable the Specialist Arts Lead to have a devoted time to develop arts provision across the network.

As part of the offer, groups of schools involved in the programme will have access to:
– Free tailored briefings on how Arts Award and Artsmark can benefit your group of schools
– Free Arts Policy development workshop
– Project Management support
– Free ‘in house’ Arts Award training
– Artsmark Development Day (for a minimum of 5 schools)
– Promotion of your school group’s success through case studies

The Group School Offer is open to groups of schools across the East Midlands.
Deadline for applications is 9am Friday 16th October. Find out more here.

#StayMightyStayCreative Challenges

Calling all young and talented artists age 7-16! Have you been exceptionally creative over lockdown? Would you like your creativity to be celebrated?

We are inviting all young artists age 7-16 to respond to our #StayMightyStayCreative challenges over the next couple of months, where they will also have the opportunity to be considered for an award as part of our annual Be Mighty Be Creative Awards 2020.

Our first challenge was was to create a collage or painting of your very own positive mantra, launched on Twitter. The first challenge deadline is this Sunday 19 July, and we’ll be announcing our next challenge next week, so head over to our social media channels to check them out. If you’d like to find out more about the challenges and how to make a submission visit our website.

Discover Arts Award at Home

Trinity College London has developed Arts Award Discover at Home which enables children to be rewarded for the creative activities they enjoy and supports them to connect with the arts and culture around them, online or at home.
Keeping children engaged in the arts and creativity while they are at home, Discover at Home is a great option for parents and care givers who may not be arts specialists themselves.

You can find their free resource pack by clicking here. Want more information? You can visit our website or contact our Arts Award team by emailing artsaward@themightycreatives.com.

We are here to support you!
